The Dance of Connection
Join us for a free, public pop-up Milonga. We begin at 6:30 PM. If you’ve never danced before, we’ll offer a 20-minute Beginner Intro Class right at the start to get you walking. Otherwise, we jump straight into the music and the embrace.
Argentine Tango
This evening is dedicated exclusively to the music and culture of Argentine Tango. All levels are welcome to participate or simply watch as the sun sets over Riverfront Park. Music will be provided by Grant Shipley and his rolling sound system!

About the Space
The Sister Cities Connections Garden is a space to honor and celebrate the importance of our Sister Cities through nature and art. It’s placed at the site of the former Japanese Pavilion at the Expo ’74 World’s Fair. The garden has blue-green curbed pathways, symbolizing connections of each of the rivers of our Sister Cities to the oceans of the world.
